 The West Arms Hotel was hand picked as one of 4 finalists in the Best Seafood Pub of the Year 2007 awards held on 22nd March 2007 in London. Just short of winning the category overall The West Arms was commended for its outstanding seafood dishes. To be recognised in this category was a huge achievement as The West Arms Hotel was the only establishment not to be on the coast or be a predominantly seafood restaurant.
