Red 2 Domaine Bahourat Merlot, Vin de Pays D’Oc 2007 16.45(Incredibly well balanced and easy to drink, engorged with sumptuous red fruit, rippling with nuances of crushed morello cherries and crunchy fragrant minty dark chocolate. Seriously good without being too serious!) BORDEAUX Red 3 Chateau Beau Rivage “Joly Rivage” 2005 22.95 (Ruby colour with complex aromas of pencil-shavings and cigar boxes. Palate is ripe and rich with pronounced blackberry and raspberry fruit flavours and with well-integrated oak)

13 Domaine Michel Girard Sancerre, 2007 26.95 (Pungent fresh grassy aromas mingle with riper citrus-style fruits, rounder and fuller in the mouth but nevertheless finishing with a pure intensity and zippiness that you'd expect in classy Sancerre. Sauvignon Blanc at it’s best!) 14 Domaine La Renardiere Pouilly-Fume, 2007 29.95 (A golden green colour the wine has lots of flowery, sappy aromas on the nose with hints of box and blackcurrant. Lively, fresh and aromatic, an elegant wine with a long finish marked by the steely flavours) 15 Les Coteaux Tuffiers Vouvray demi-sec, 2007 19.95 (Delicious off-dry style of Chenin Blanc with honeyed, nutty aromas. On the palate lush fruit and minerality are balanced by a steely backbone of acidity. The wine has a long rich finish. The perfect accompaniment for any meal) SPAIN Red 16 Artesa Crianza Rioja, 2005 19.95 (Soft, ripe, plummy mouth filling fruit complimented by vanilla and spicy oak. A modern style Rioja with a savoury touch on the finish) ITALY White 17 Pinot Grigio Ancorra 17.95 (A fresh, dry white with gentle floral and citrus aromas. Crisp and delicate on the palate with lightly honeyed fruit balanced by lemony acidity and a fresh, dry finish) 18 Palazzi Chardonnay 15.95(A fresh, zesty, white made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Piemonte region of northern Italy. 19 Araldica Revello Barolo, DOCG 2004 31.95(Revello has all the tell-tale Barolo characteristics. It is a light red coloured wine with hints of orange. It has the tobacco, leather and violet notes typical of Nebbiolo with firm tannins pleasingly supported with plump fruit and a round silky texture, giving a good lengthy finish) AUSTRALIA Red 20 Four Sisters Shiraz, 2005 18.95 (Splendid acid to this wine, there are dark berries, melted chocolate and anise biscuit, cassis and licorice. This is the Shiraz to enjoy when the occassion calls for a soft approachable red with a bit of fruit and modernity. The balance of elements to this wine is very close to perfect, and the finish is long and flavorsome) 21 Norfolk Rise, Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 21.95 (Mount Benson, towards the Limestone Coast, west of Coonawarra, is the origin of the Norfolk Rise wines and the general standard of reds and whites has been impressive. The 2006 Cabernet shows attractive blackcurrant flavour with dry touches of tobacco, green leaf, black olive and dried herbs) White 22 Sacred Hill Traminer. Riesling 19.95 (This is a cracker of a wine from the De Bortoli family in South Australia. Medium sweet in style with a zesty, zingy acidity, this is ideal as an aperitif, or with lightly spiced dishes)
NEW ZEALAND White 23 Crowded House, Sauvignon Blanc 2008 21.95 (Brilliant pale straw. Very intense, tropical fruit and honey, cut grass and gooseberry. A stylish wine and thoroughly quenching, it’s aromaticness and honeysuckley flavours mingle throughout with the lovely complexities of pineapple, lychee and snow pea. Smoothly rounded, upfront fruit, rich and full on the palate, it offers great length and intensity, with a long funky finish)
Rose 24 Klippenklop Pinotage Merlot, Rose 2008 16.95 (Refreshing, juicy red berry fruit on the nose. This dry rosé has enticing flavours of strawberries and red summer fruits on the palate followed by a lingering, well-balanced finish. An excellent quaffing wine. A delightful dry rose wine) Red 25 Stellar Organics Shiraz, Western Cape 2008 18.95 (Dry, coffee nose with sappy fruit on the palate and has similarities to Northern Rhône Syrah. Good, spicy wine that has the benefit of being both organic and Fairtrade)
26 False Bay, Pinotage 2007 16.95(A heady mix of fruit, rich chocolate and plums supported by soft tannins. Paul Boutinot has invested heavily in his Stellenbosch winery, and the results are stunning) White 27 Paarl Heights Chenin Blanc, 2008 16.95 (A fresh, dry white wine with a delicate lemon colour, displaying intense floral, guava and citrus aromas and succulent tropical fruit on the palate, balanced by crisp acidity)
White 33 Cave Turckheim, Pinot Blanc 2006 12.95 (Pale golden in colour with perfumed aromatics of peaches and citrus. Touches of minerality and spice on the palate with a dry and crisp finish) 34 Henry Pelle Sancerre, 2006 16.95 (The 'terroir' found in the village of Montigny isn't considered classic because of its small size and unusual mix with peebly top soil, but the Pelles believe this enhances its typical rich Sauvignon Blanc characters. Pungent fresh grassy aromas mingle with riper citrus-style fruits, rounder and fuller in the mouth but nevertheless finishing with a pure intensity and zippiness that you'd expect in classy Sancerre) Red 35 Puerta Vieja Rioja, 2003 12.95 (An intense, cherry-red coloured wine, which has pronounced aromas of orange peel and dried fruit, along with spicy notes from new wood.
